Dr. István Thékes, professor and International Secretary General of the GFU, participated in the two-day congress ‘Language Policy and the European Strategies’ organised by the Agência Nacional Erasmus+ Educação e Formação in Lisbon on 5 and 6 December.
The Portuguese Minister of Education also spoke at the event. Several academics presented their views on language teaching and bilingualism. At this high quality conference, the Head of International Affairs of our institution had many valuable exchanges of views. These could lead to participation in projects under the ERASMUS Strategic Partnerships programme. Dr. István Thékes also met with a representative of the Catholic University of Lisbon, our partner university, at the Congress venue.
