At the proposal of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, President of the Republic Katalin Novák awarded state medals to several lecturers of the Gál Ferenc University on the occasion of our state holiday, August 20.
Dr. Szilvia Beke (GFU HSCF) was awarded the Hungarian Gold Cross of Merit in recognition of her dedicated research work and her activities in the development of higher education in health sciences and the promotion of professions related to the field of science.
Gyula Bíró, honorary associate professor, director of the GFU Teacher Training Institute, received the Hungarian Silver Cross of Merit in recognition of his exceptionally dedicated work in the field of teacher training and further education, as well as his innovation and institutional development activities.
Dr. Imre Lipcsei (GFE PF) was awarded the Hungarian Golden Cross of Merit for his four decades of pedagogical work and for his outstanding teaching achievements in teacher training for more than three decades.
László Lonovics (GFU PF) was awarded the Hungarian Silver Cross of Merit in recognition of his significant creative work in the field of fine arts and his valuable teaching activities in the field of teacher training.
Dr. Andrea Párduczné Dr. Szöllősi will receive the Hungarian Silver Cross of Merit at a later date for her work in the field of reproductive prevention and nursing and patient care training.
