In 2030, the Diocese of Szeged-Csanád will celebrate the thousandth anniversary of its foundation. In preparation for this event, GFU has launched a series of conferences that will explore the history, cultural, religious and social heritage of the area, which has since been divided into three parts but is still spiritually united. The first of this series of conferences will take place on 30 November 2023, 9:30-12:30, under the title “The Heritage of Saint Gellért I – In the Attraction of Timisoara”.
The participation of our students is also encouraged by making the “Conference Course” open for enrolment again, to which the organisers welcome all students.
The conference will be available online via Zoom (Meeting ID: 897 9047 5295 Passcode: 181051) in addition to in-person attendance (Szeged, Dóm tér 6, Glattfelder Hall).
