Faculty of Pedagogy

On 2 February 2024 in Szarvas, at the Open Day of the Faculty of Pedagogy of the Gál Ferenc University, Dr. Krisztina Katona, Dean of the Faculty, Head of Department, College Professor of the Faculty of Pedagogy welcomed the guests, introduced the GFU and its Faculty of Pedagogy, and highlighted the Erasmus scholarship opportunities offered by several foreign university partners, the practical field, the excellent dormitories and the various sporting and cultural opportunities.

Zoltán Feifrik, Head of the College, gave information about the dormitory facilities in Szarvas, the student residence, student life and scholarship opportunities.

Katalin Kovács, Head of the Department of Studies, spoke about the main changes in the central admission procedure for higher education, the courses of study offered by the Faculty and the University, the requirements for the aptitude test, and the changes in admission legislation and scoring in recent years.

During the open day, visitors were able to watch a film presenting the University and the Faculty of Education, and a short “quiz game” was held, where lucky winners could win a GFU gift pack.

After the personal questions were answered, the visitors had the opportunity to visit the Faculty’s library and the dormitory, and we are glad that the visitors took advantage of this opportunity.

We would like to thank the Technical Schools maintained by the GFU, the public education institutions of Szarvas for the attendance of their students at this enrolment event, and the interested people from the countryside and their parents for their participation in the Open Day of the Faculty of Education.
