Dr. István Thékes, professor of our university, gave a presentation entitled ‘Analysis and evaluation of digital language learning applications’ at the international Conference on Educational Assessment Szeged. On 26 April, the educational researcher presented the cognitive processes of digital language learning and the most effective language learning applications currently available for language learners. At the end of his presentation, he also presented the statistical methods used to rank them. The annual congress, attended by researchers from the US, Germany, Poland, Finland, Thailand, China, Vietnam and Indonesia, also provided an opportunity for our Secretary for Foreign Affairs to participate in useful exchanges. More presentations abroad will follow in the summer, and in the autumn our colleague will give a presentation at the National Conference on Educational Sciences.
