On April 30, 2024, the Gál Ferenc University of Szarvas Practical Training Institute held the competition for the “Most Outstanding Kindergarten Teacher” candidate for the title of 2024.
In his welcoming speech, Mr. Gyula Bíró, Honorary Associate Professor, Department of Child Education and Methodology, GFU, said that this important event of the teacher training in Sarva is a small part of the professional work that is the “prelude” to preparing for a career and practising a profession, a competition that can be a gateway to the job market, showing the excellence of the candidates. It is a professional opportunity to show the strengths of a synthesis of theoretical and practical training. Mr Gyula Bíró, Director General, welcomed the participants on behalf of the University Faculty and the Training Institute, wishing a boost not only to those starting their careers, the participants of the competition, but also to the educators already in the field and the members of the jury.
Mr. Pál Hodálik, councillor of the Békés County Assembly, Éva Bajomi-Nagy, head of the unit, head teacher, Istvánné Huszár, deputy head teacher, head of practical training, master teacher, Anna Montvajszkiné Bátor, head teacher, head of practical training, were invited to the evaluation committee of this year’s professional event.

In 2024, the “Most Outstanding Candidate for the Award for Kindergarten Teacher” was awarded to Dorina Varga, who will receive the award at the Faculty’s 2024 graduation ceremony from Dr. Krisztina Katona, Dean of the Faculty, and Gyula Bíró, Associate Professor.
The afternoon of creative excitement ended with champagne toasts, cake and a friendly professional discussion for both the nominees and the jury.
Professional knowledge is worth little if it is not combined with spirituality, and the teaching profession is special because it can enrich the lives and daily lives of both educators and educated.
