The Interactive Exhibition of the GFE KA2 international project opened on 6 May at the Franciscan Visitor Centre in Alsóváros

The official opening of the national event of the Erasmus international project “Sustainable Development in Early Childhood Education” of GFE KA2 took place on May 6th at the Franciscan Visitors’ Centre in Alsóváros. On the first day of the event, which started with the opening speech of the Rector Professor Dr. László Dux, early childhood education staff, preschool children and international partners visited and tried out the playful installations educating about sustainability. In his opening speech, the Rector of the GFE said that internationalisation and participation in innovative early childhood education is a priority for the university. This KA2 project is therefore optimal for the institution as it is at the intersection of these two priorities.

The GFE is implementing the Interactive Exhibition in collaboration with the staff of the Palanta Nursery Network.  After the opening ceremony with Finnish and Portuguese experts from the international project, schoolchildren and kindergarten children were able to visit the exhibition for a week, which will be open to visitors until 12 May.

The kindergarten teachers and professionals who attended the opening ceremony, together with the children, praised the exhibition, which they said was both educational and playful.
