The ERASMUS KA2 project realized in international cooperation with the participation of GFU ended on June 7

The Gál Ferenc University’s ERASMUS KA2 project called ‘Sustainable development in Early Childhood Education’ has ended. The one-year program conducted with the participation of Finnish and Portuguese early childhood education professionals said goodbye with the three-day event in Lisbon. At the interactive exhibition organized on the ocean coast, the staff of the organizing Portuguese institution Traquinauta presented innovative pedagogical methods and installations that foster sustainable development. GFU was represented by the Chief Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Dr. István Thékes, together with three specialists working in infant and kindergarten pedagogy. The participants got to know the wildlife in the Portuguese part of the ocean. In addition, they received useful information about how to involve children of preschool age in order to preserve marine life.
