Faculty of Pedagogy

The first phase of the renewal of the main building of the Faculty of Pedagogy of the Ferenc Gál University in Szarvas, Szabadság út 4. started in 2021 with the replacement of the windows and doors. The facade repair, renovation and restoration works, reconstruction of the façade ornamentation and repair of the fence of the building, which is under local protection, were carried out between April and November 2024 as the second phase of the building renovation. This work included the renewal of the side of the building facing Liberty Avenue and Péter Vajda Street, the return of the symbolic “ivory” gate of the building and the installation of dovecotes. This second phase is a strong investment of the Gál Ferenc University itself. As part of Phase III, the University plans to renovate the interior façade and roof, thus completing the overall renovation of the building.
