Let’s show once again that together we can do wonders!

The Government Office of Csongrád-Csanád County, the University of Szeged and the Gál Ferenc University will organize another charity run in 2025 to support the ÁGOTA® Foundation for Children in Care.

In 2024, more than 1600 people registered for one of the biggest outdoor sports events of the year in Szeged, which turned out to be a real fun run.

The aim of this year’s charity run is to make children and young people without a blood family feel the support and solidarity of society. The charity run also raises awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle, solidarity and charity, as well as the community-building power of sport.

The 2nd Ágota Run is already part of the Five Trial Recreational Sports Series and will also be a points collection event. Each participant will also receive a unique finish medal and a start pack, but there will also be a series of surprises.

Age groups and distances:

Children’s categories up to 14 years:

Under 5 years 100 m

3-10 years 400 metres

8-14 years 800 metres

Children over 14 years old can only compete in adult categories.

Adult categories:

3 km, 6 km, 12 km individual or 4×3 km relay (4 persons), 4*12 km synchronous marathon (4 persons)
