Faculty of Health- and Social Sciences
The modernization, which has been ongoing for a month, aims to improve the energy efficiency of the main building of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences.
Since the construction of the facility on Szent István Street, no renovation of this scale has taken place. Initially, the building housed a secondary school, but since 1993, it has been used for higher education.
The works are scheduled to be completed in October this year, with technical handover taking place in November. Future plans include modernizing the parking lot behind the building and, if feasible, carrying out similar energy-efficiency improvements in the “B” building of the Gyula faculty.
