Scientific Students’ Conference Accompanied by a Spring Concert

On April 29, 2025, the Faculty of Education at Gál Ferenc University held its traditional Scientific Students’ Conference accompanied by a Spring Concert.

The event was opened by the “Voices of the Heart” children’s choir (GFE Practice Institution, conducted by Krisztina Balláné Tóth), followed by the GFE Faculty of Education Choir’s spring performance (prepared and conducted by Zsolt Aradi).

After the concert, the Scientific Students’ Conference took place, where 10 students presented their research in two sections.

First section:

Jury: Dr. Mihályné Szakács (Chair), Dr. Erzsébet Lestyán, Dr. Attila B. Kis (Members)

  • 1st place: Eszter Ragács-Tóth (Infant and Early Childhood Education program) – “The significance of early recognition and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, presented through the case of two girls” (Supervisor: Gitta Bartyik)

  • 2nd place (shared):

    • Renáta Rácz (Kindergarten Teacher program) – “The impact and possibilities of music education for people with disabilities” (Supervisor: Zsolt Aradi)

    • Katalin Bencze (Kindergarten Teacher program) – “The popularity of contemporary Hungarian children’s poems in kindergartens” (Supervisor: Dr. Krisztina Katona)

  • 3rd place (shared):

    • Tündi Ilona Fosztó (Kindergarten Teacher program) – “The world and worldview of the child” (Supervisor: Dr. Zoltán Bábosik)

    • Erika Ráfiné Szendrei (Kindergarten Teacher program) – “The transfer effect of music education for children with disabilities” (Supervisor: Zsolt Aradi)

Second section:

Jury: Dr. Sarolta Fest (Chair), Dr. Ágota Balogh Szabóné, Gyula Bíró

  • 1st place: Adrienn Árgyelán (Infant and Early Childhood Education program) – “The role of smart devices in the lives of toddlers” (Supervisor: Dr. Krisztina Sebestyén)

  • 2nd place: Fruzsina Mikulik-Dörgő (Kindergarten Teacher program) – “The role of the Bozsik Institutional Program and football in the lives of preschool children” (Supervisor: Dr. habil. Szabolcs Halasi)

Special Awards:

  • Mária Szalai (Infant and Early Childhood Education program) – “Health education in nurseries in light of methodological recommendations” (Supervisor: Judit Závogyán)

  • Gabriella Tóthné Sódar (Kindergarten Teacher program) – “Foundations, signposts and milestones for a healthy life. The role of the family in the development of preschool children in Mezőkovácsháza” (Supervisor: Dr. habil. Szabolcs Halasi)

  • Andrásné Tusjak (Kindergarten Teacher program) – “The outstanding effects of horses on preschool children” (Supervisor: Dr. Éva Kerepeczki)
