Faculty of Theology

An exhibition dedicated to art historian Katalin Dávid was opened on September 18, 2025 (Thursday) at Gál Ferenc University in Szeged, as part of the Ars Sacra Festival program. Dávid, who passed away in 2023 at the age of one hundred, is commemorated through this exhibition.

The exhibition was organized under the care of the Koszta József Museum Foundation in Szentes.

At the opening, participants were welcomed by László Dux, Rector of Gál Ferenc University. On this occasion, Katalin Dávid’s life and legacy were discussed by her son, Máté Hidvégi, and the exhibition’s curator, István Zombori.
