The Student Residence of the Faculty of Education of Ferenc Gál University welcomes our students and visitors from 1 February 2008. We offer accommodation to our students at the Cervus Hostel.
Accommodation is offered not only to full time and part time students, but also to visitors to our university or our town.
During school term (September-June), the hostel is mainly used to accommodate the students of Gál Ferenc University, but we welcome visitors all year round if there are vacancies.
Our apartments meet the highest standards, they are modern and practical. We can accommodate visitors in 2, 3, 2×2, 2×3-bed apartments and we also have a fully accessible apartment.
During the summer period we operate on a commercial basis. We take bookings from individuals as well as public event organisers. The building is located in Szarvas.

– name, specialisation, year, hometown (city), Neptun code,
– part time students: dates and number of nights required

Important information for students when moving in:
For information about move-in dates, please contact the head of the student residence and follow the information boards. When you move in, you will receive your personal access card, you will have to sign the rental agreement and the apartment inventory.
The fee must be paid via the Neptun study system by the 15th of each month.
The first payment should be your 2-month fee.
You can bring your own bed linen, kitchen utensils, computer, TV, etc.

- The price includes VAT, but excludes IFA (tourist tax), HUF 400 per night (to be paid on the spot by people between 18-70 years of age)
- Payment is managed in building „B” of Cervus Hostel, OTP, MKB and K&H cards are accepted.
- For part time (correspondence) students and students in further education courses at Gál Ferenc University we offer a price of HUF 3.000/person/night.
- Guests of full-time students will be charged HUF 1.500/person per night
- For full-time students we offer accommodation at a price of HUF 3.000/person per night all year round.
- To benefit from reduced university hostel rates, proof of university student status is required.
- Students with a confirmed university student status and guests staying in our faculty’s hostels participating in events organised by the University faculties, do not pay tourist tax.
- Group discount: based on the number of guests (minimum 50) up to 10% off the total price.
- Children discount: free for children up to 6 years old (kindergarten and nursery groups are not eligible), 10% discount for children aged 6-14 years (only when sharing a room with parents), adult rates apply for children over 14 years.
- Pensioner and student discount: 10% off on accommodation for individual (not group) bookings
